Hammad Masud — Founder, Japan Art Press
Hammad Masud founded Japan Art Press, growing it out of Lahore into the name most Pakistani families reach for when they need wedding invitations done properly. It sits in Shadman, in the middle of Lahore's wedding market, and the orders come from everywhere — Karachi, Islamabad, and Pakistani households in the UK, the US, Canada, the Gulf, and beyond.
He's hands-on about it. Foil work, embossing, packaging, timelines — he still pays attention to the details that make a card feel like the start of someone's wedding rather than just paper.
Printing isn't the only thing he does. He holds property, runs an international food franchise, and serves as General Secretary of the Shadman Traders Association — a role that keeps him close to the everyday problems of Lahore's trading community, not just his own business.
Ask him what ties it together and he'll tell you it's simple: do the work properly, treat people fairly, and show up for your community. Everything else follows from that.
